RESOLUTE SEE RED BUT STILL RULE THE ROOST
Seeing red
This week saw an event which happens about as frequently as a win for Spurs. Yes, a West End league referee went into his pocket and brandished a red card. The last recorded case was Windowlicker vs Newman, S (2003).
However, the East End lads still hung on for a 2-0 victory in what was a game to forget for CPR.
The result leaves CPR still at the foot of the table, one point behind Northern Town who were thrashed by a resurgent Primrose Hill. Unfortunately we're going to have to remain there for the next two weeks, as the next fixture is a Cup tie away to Ealing.
